Choosing the Correct Blade

Our extensive file covering virtually every manufacturer will insure that your new blades will fit perfectly.  Sizes, whether metric or American standard are precisely matched to your manufacturers specifications.

Blade Materials
Tool steels are chosen based on their cutting capability and also their wear characteristics.  A tool steel such as D2 is often the preferred grade for shearing mild steel and light gauge stainless.  Whereas, a modified A8 might be the selection for heavier gauge stainless and similar tough materials.

Heat Treat
Proper heat treating is absolutely critical to producing a blade with optimum performance.  A change of just one point on the Rc scale can have a significant effect on blade life and performance.  Using the latest in heat treat technology,
we can insure you the best possible blade.

Re-Grind Service
Your blades can be returned to new condition with our re-grind service.  Please contact us for a quote.    Turn around is usually less than one week.
